"Real Emotional Fuzz"
This pedal is a fuzz clone on veroboard titled "Real Emotional Fuzz."
The enclosure was designed and etched to resemble the cover art of the album.
It is a one-of-a-kind gift (not for sale). This pedal was given to Stephen Malkmus
by my nephew at the Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks concert in St. Louis on 11/01/2008.
The insides were rushed together in about 2 hours (I received the parts via mail
the morning of the concert!). I would have preferred more time to make the insides
cleaner but we had a 4-hour drive ahead of us and I ran out of time.
This is a good example of custom enclosures that I have made.
Neat features for this pedal include:
- Eyes light up when the pedal is engaged
- Lightly aged enclosure
- Custom graphics etched into enclosure
